UPDATE JUNE 20 - The News Guard finally realized their mistake and took down the entire article.
Taft Elementary School Principal Nick Lupo has reportedly served snakes to his students on the last day of school.
While most of you must be thinking, "This writer is selling snake-oil," I assure you I am not. According to The News Guard, Lupo served snakes to students during the last day of school that included events such as the potato sack race, tug-of-war, bouncy house and others.
"Taft Elementary School Principal Nick Lupo served snakes to his students during the school day event," The News Guard reported online Friday.
Lupo could not be immediately reached for comment. It appears he is trying to snake his way out of an interview with Lincoln City Homepage.
We have also reached out to the students and their families to determine what type of snakes Lupo chose to serve.
Stay tuned for continuing coverage of this cold-blooded fiasco.
